Iron Roughneck Parts
Iron Roughneck Parts for Active and Legacy Platforms
Canadian Global supplies iron roughneck parts for the three platforms that define most active land rig floors in North America: NOV IR3080, NOV ST80, and Canrig TM80. Our inventory is built around the components that fail, wear, and get consumed in real drilling programs — not assembled for catalog breadth.
The IR3080 is one of the most widely deployed compact roughnecks running in Canadian and U.S. land drilling. Its lightweight design and smaller footprint make it the standard for tight drill floors, and it runs hard in high-cycle environments. Canadian Global stocks NOV IR3080 parts including torque head components, hydraulic system hardware, and control assemblies — the parts that determine whether your IR3080 delivers consistent makeup torque or starts introducing variability into your connection sequence.
The ST80 is built for higher load demands and heavier-duty pipe handling. Our NOV ST80 parts inventory covers the full service range — from wear items replaced during routine maintenance intervals to load-bearing components that require precise matching to OEM specification. Torque accuracy on the ST80 depends on the condition of several interconnected systems, and the components we supply are selected to hold that spec.
The Canrig TM80 has a solid installed base across North American drilling programs. Canadian Global supplies Canrig TM80 iron roughneck parts and supports full repair and recertification for the TM80 platform — one of the few suppliers in the market covering this system with both parts availability and direct service capability under the same roof.
Rineer hydraulic motors drive the operating systems in several iron roughneck platforms, and their condition directly affects torque output consistency. Canadian Global carries Rineer motor components and provides dedicated motor servicing — thorough inspection, precision repair, and verified quality control before any component goes back into service.
When a part is no longer in production, Canadian Global doesn’t treat that as a dead end. Our team can source, reverse-engineer, or manufacture discontinued components to keep legacy roughneck platforms running through their full working life.
Every iron roughneck part leaving our facility is inspected before shipment — condition verified, compatibility confirmed. The same Canadian Global supply chain supporting our recertification and repair programs is available for direct parts orders.
For operations running the IR3080 or ST80, both platforms are eligible for Canadian Global’s Autonomous Sequence Upgrade — a PLC-based modification that removes manual inputs from the makeup and breakout sequence entirely. Parts availability and upgrade capability are both in-house.
